Diploma of Child, Youth and Family Intervention CHC50321 RPL program

Description

The Diploma of Child, Youth and Family Intervention is a nationally recognised qualification. This Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Pathway is designed for experienced practitioners in the Children and Family sector.

The RPL Pathway is an assessment program that recognises current and prior knowledge/skills. Our RPL program is a fully online, self-directed pathway designed to be convenient and flexible for applicants. As part of our tailored online platform, we provide suggested evidence for both organisations and students, streamlining the process. You will be supported throughout your RPL journey by our experienced team of assessors plus optional online drop-in sessions.

Workers who undertake this qualification generally work as caseworkers and in other roles in organisations who provide out of home care and family support. They work under limited supervision or within a team and are responsible for planning and prioritising their own work to achieve targets. They may supervise other workers and carry out activities related to improvement of personal living and emotional circumstances of a child or young person at risk. They may exercise legal authorities and delegated decision making on relevant statutory matters.

CCWT will undertake an assessment of your eligibility however, as a guide we recommend that you have a minimum of 2 years experience in a children and family setting.
